How it works

  1. Paste or link

Paste a few paragraphs or more, or switch to Web page and enter a link.

  2. Pick your questions

Choose how many, the type and how hard they should be.

  3. Quiz yourself

Answer, see why, and retry the ones you missed.

Quizzes from notes in any app

Your notes do not need to be a PDF. Copy them out of Notion, OneNote, Google Docs, Word, Apple Notes or an email and paste them straight in. A few paragraphs are enough for a short quiz; a full set of notes works for up to 50 questions.

The quiz generator only uses what you paste, so questions stay on your material. Pick multiple choice for quick practice, fill in the blank for key terms, short answer to practise explaining, or a mix.

Quizzes from articles and web pages

Switch to Web page and enter the link to an article, a Wikipedia page, a blog post or online course notes. We read the page’s main text, leaving out menus and adverts, and write questions from it. It is a quick way to check you understood something you read online.

Pages behind a login, and pages that load their text with scripts, cannot be read. For those, select the text on the page, copy it, and use Paste text instead.

Frequently asked questions

Still stuck? Get in touch.

How much text do I need?

At least a few paragraphs (about 200 characters is the minimum). More text gives more varied questions; very long text is sampled evenly so the whole thing is covered.

Is the text I paste stored?

No. It is used only to write the questions and is not kept. The finished quiz is stored for 30 days so your share link works.

Which web pages work?

Public pages with readable text, such as articles, Wikipedia and blog posts. Pages that need a login, or that load their text with scripts, cannot be read; paste their text instead.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no trial and no daily limit.

Can I share the quiz?

Yes. Every quiz has a link that anyone can open for 30 days, no account needed. You can also print it as a worksheet or export it to Kahoot or Google Forms.
